This paper has examined the representation of relationships and romantic storylines in Artis Melayu, with a focus on Intan's on-screen and off-screen romances. The findings suggest that Artis Melayu perpetuates a romanticized and idealized portrayal of relationships, reflecting cultural and societal norms. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the representation of relationships in Malaysian popular culture and highlights the significance of Artis Melayu in shaping public perceptions of love and relationships.
