The film's narrative takes a dramatic turn when Chidambaram's life becomes intertwined with that of a notorious don, Perumal (played by Prakash Raj). Perumal's son, Vettaikaran (played by Vijay in a dual role), is a ruthless and cunning young man who is determined to take over his father's empire. As Chidambaram and Vettaikaran's paths cross, the young man must confront his dark past and make amends.
