The movie begins with Van Helsing, a skilled monster hunter, working for the Vatican to eliminate supernatural threats. He's tasked with taking down Dracula, who's terrorizing the countryside. Van Helsing soon discovers that Dracula is searching for a powerful amulet that will grant him invincibility. Along the way, Van Helsing teams up with Anna Valerious, a woman on a mission to avenge her family's death at the hands of Dracula.
