Bendy and the Ink Machine is set in the 1930s at Joey Drew Studios, where the game's protagonist, Henry Stein, is tasked with investigating the mysterious disappearance of his former boss, Joey Drew. As Henry explores the studio, he discovers that the studio's ink-based cartoon characters have come to life, and he must survive the night while uncovering the dark secrets behind the studio's downfall.
