The Dark Knight Rises is the final installment of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy. The movie takes place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight (2008) and follows Bruce Wayne/Batman (Christian Bale) as he faces his most personal and physically demanding challenge yet.
