The movie tells the story of a former Shaolin monk named Sing (played by Stephen Chow), who becomes the coach of a misfit football team. The team's goal is to defeat their rival team, the "Brazilian gang", in a high-stakes match. Along the way, Sing uses his Shaolin kung fu skills to train his team and overcome various obstacles.
