"Paprika" is a science fiction anime film written and directed by Satoshi Kon, based on the novel of the same name by Yasutaka Tsutsui. The film premiered in 2006, just a few months before Kon's untimely passing. The story follows Dr. Paprika, a researcher who uses a device called the "DC Mini" to enter people's dreams and help them overcome their psychological traumas.
