The story follows Raleigh Becket (Charlie Hunnam), a former Jaeger pilot, who teams up with a new co-pilot, Lt. Gipsy Avenger's pilot Nate Lambert (Lance Evans), to take on the Kaiju, monstrous creatures from another dimension. The Jaegers and their pilots must stop a new threat, a group of rogue Jaegers, and a powerful Kaiju that has been awakened.
