"Neerja" is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language biographical thriller film directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The movie is based on the true story of Neerja Bhanot, a 23-year-old Indian flight attendant who died while saving the lives of 360 passengers on a hijacked plane on September 5, 1986.
