Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the enhanced version of Mario Kart 8, has been a massive hit among gamers since its release in 2017. The game's popularity led to the creation of the Booster Course Pass, a series of DLC packs that add new tracks, characters, and other content to the game. Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass was released in March 2022, and it introduced 12 new tracks to the game.
