The movie takes place in New Orleans, where we meet Tiana, a hardworking and ambitious young woman who dreams of opening her own restaurant. One day, while out for a walk, Tiana meets a frog named Prince Naveen, who is actually a prince under a curse. The curse was placed by the evil sorcerer, Dr. Facilier, also known as the Shadow Man.
