The film follows the story of Eric Sloan (Rob Van Dam), an American who travels to Thailand to visit his brother, Frank (Dennis Chan), who is a kickboxer. Upon arrival, Eric discovers that his brother has been forced into debt by a local crime lord, Sadi (Peter O'Toole), and is being forced to fight in underground kickboxing matches. Eric decides to challenge Sadi's top fighter, Tong Po (Dolph Lundgren), and becomes embroiled in a world of martial arts and violence.
