The film takes place in a world where a powerful terrorist organization known as Cobra has risen to power, threatening global stability. The G.I. Joe team, a secret elite counter-terrorism unit, must stop Cobra's evil plans and bring its leader, Cobra Commander (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), to justice. The Joes, led by Duke (Channing Tatum), are a diverse group of skilled operatives, including Snake Eyes (Ray Park), Scarlett (Saoirse Ronan), and Heavy Duty (Brendan Fraser).
