The movie begins with Michelle, a 10-year-old girl who has been isolated from the world due to her disabilities. Despite her conditions, she possesses a unique perception of the world around her. Debraj Sahai, a retired teacher, takes Michelle under his wing and begins to teach her. Through his unconventional methods, he helps Michelle discover her voice and assert her independence.
